This is a rare opportunity for advanced non-sport collectors to pick up uncut sheets of the zany 1970s Topps Wacky Packages, the send-up to the modern advertising age that parodies just about every nationally distributed consumer product you could imagine. As irreverent as its philosophical cousin The Garbage Pail Kids, the Wacky Packages Stickers are just as colorful and equally contemptuous, making them a delight for youngsters and, ultimately, serious older collectors. The offered group of eight full sheets measuring 21 ½-by-28 ½ inches and one ½ sheet, plus a Wacky Packages Poster, are broadly Very Good to Excellent, with only a handful of Stickers damaged or missing (noted in the listing below). Full sheets have complete series at 66 Stickers, and the ½ sheet has 33. The breakdown: 1) Series I sheet presents VG-Ex but has No. 24 damaged; 2) Series I sheet presents VG-Ex, but missing Nos. 20, 34 and 54; 3) Series II – Very Good; 4) Series I (five full sheets) – Ex-Mt, Excellent-Plus, Excellent, VG-Ex and Very Good; 5) Series I ½ Sheet (33 Stickers) – Fair; and 6) 25-by-28-inch Poster – Excellent-Plus.
