Here’s a great chance to pick up pristine examples of one of the key non-sport offerings of the 1970s, the Star Wars cards that commemorated the movie franchise that would reshape Hollywood. The lot includes four of the five series, missing only the Yellow-bordered Series Three, and with a handful of cards (4) missing from Series Two. The cards are essentially as issued, Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint or better; also included for the four series are the attendant 11-card Sticker Subsets, plus a nice condition wrapper for each series. Here’s the breakdown: 1) Series One (Nos. 1-66), plus 11 Stickers and the Wrapper – Stickers have a barely visible wrinkle at the center, seemingly from a rogue rubber band; 2) Series Two (Nos. 67-132), missing four cards (Nos. 85, 111, 115 and 129), plus 11 Stickers with the same condition qualifier noted for Series One – plus the Wrapper; 3) Series Four (Nos. 199-264), plus Stickers (11) and Wrapper; and 4) Series Five (Nos. 265-330), plus Stickers (11) and Wrapper.
