Here are two complete sets of Topps baseball from near the end of the 1970s, sets that look largely like they must have 40 years ago, mostly Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint, with a few below and with sharp color and gloss and a dramatic, uniform presentation. As noted in the title, the 1978 set boasts a PSA 7 example of the No. 400 Nolan Ryan card; in 1977, HOFers and stars generally conform to the wider condition range with a handful of exceptions: No. 170 Munson – Good, No. 450 Rose – Good, No. 473 Dawson Rookie – Ex-Mt-Plus, No. 476 Murphy Rookie – Ex-Mt-Plus and No. 650 Ryan – Near-Mint m/c.
