Presented is a pair of outstanding 1978 Topps Baseball complete sets, both essentially Near-Mint or better and both boasting exceptional color and gloss. The first set is a stunning Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint monster, revealing the coveted “vending bend” that bespeaks of uncirculated cardboard and a pedigree for the key Tier One Hall of Famers and stars that easily conforms to the wider condition range. The set features some of the typical centering vagaries that are commonplace with this issue. The second set is barely a whisper below the first, clearly Near-Mint or better, with the same stunning color and gloss and some below mostly to Ex-Mt or Excellent.
