For dedicated Milwaukee Brewers collectors, this lot has got to be an eye opener: a huge array of mostly Topps, Fleer and Donruss team sets of the Brewers from the giddy days of the 1980s when the club enjoyed enormous success and an American League Pennant with a lineup led by Hall of Famers Robin Yount, Paul Molitor and Rollie Fingers. The offered array of 30 sets are essentially as issued, easily Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint or better, with most of the Topps Team sets complete at 22 cards, with 28 cards for 1985 Donruss and 26 for 1985 Fleer. In addition to the two dozen Team sets from the major manufacturers, there are four sets from the 1983 Gardner Bakery Series (22 cards each), plus sealed Brewers Team sets from the 1983 Milwaukee Police Department and 1984 Whitewater Police Department. The breakdown (30): 1981 Topps (4), 1982 Topps (4), 1983 Topps (4), 1983 Donruss (4), 1985 Donruss (4), 1985 Fleer (4), 1983 Gardner Bakery (4), 1983 Milwaukee Police and 1984 Whitewater Police.
