Here’s the definitive Donruss canon of product from the dawn of the modern age of baseball cards, complete sets from the first eight years plus a couple of Leaf issues and a big pile of the boxed sets that the company was so famous for. Cards are basically as issued, Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint or better. The lineup includes the eight regular-issue sets mentioned above, plus 1983 and 1984 Action All-Stars oversized sets, 1985 Leaf and 1987 Leaf, plus the boxed group of 13 sets: 1986 and 1987 Highlights, 1986-91 Rookies sets (two sets in 1990) and 1989 Traded. Just to show we poked around a bit, we’ll report the regular-issue 1987 Donruss set is missing card No. 7.
