Presented is a truly impressive array of uncut sheets from baseball, football, basketball and hockey, including nearly two dozen sheets from the groundbreaking 1990 Pro Set Hockey issue; in addition, there are two blank-backed proof sheets included in the mix. The sheets (Topps and O-Pee-Chee with 132 cards – exceptions noted) are broadly 44-by-28 inches, with the 1993 Classic and 1990 Pro Set Hockey sheets a bit shorter at 100 cards each. The 1990 Pro Set sheets boast the unique configuration of having in most instances 10 cards of each player appearing in individual sections. It’s an amazing grouping totaling a whopping 3,284 cards in their original form. Here’s the breakdown: 1) 1981 Topps Baseball (3) – 132 cards each, Ex-Mt or better, with seven Hall of Famers, including Ryan, Raines Rookie, Rice, Seaver and five Checklists; 2) 1981 Topps Football – Board No. 7 (132 cards) – Ex-Mt, with six Hall of Famers, including Payton, Record Breakers, 28 Team Leaders and four Checklists; 3) 1981-82 Topps Hockey – (132 cards) – Ex-Mt, including Leach and Clarke; 4) 1987 Topps Football – Board No. 5 (132 cards) – Near-Mint, with eight Hall of Famers, including Montana, Lawrence Taylor, Team Leaders and four Checklists; 5) 1990’s Wheaties Michael Jordan Mini-Boxes (18) – Near-Mint, with foam-core backing; 6) 1990-91 O-Pee-Chee Hockey – (132 cards), VG-Ex, including Bourque, Checklist, Gretzky/Ross Trophy, Roy/Vezina Trophy, Messier/Hart Trophy and Hull/Bing Trophy; 7) 1990 Pro Set Hockey (22 sheets) – including one partial and two Proofs – a) Sheets with Lemieux and Coffey – two sheets with 100 cards (VG-Ex) and a partial (Excellent-Plus) with 42 cards, yielding 10 Lemieux cards and 18 Coffeys; 8) Sheet with 100 cards – Excellent-Plus; 9) Two Sheets of 100 cards – Excellent-Plus and Very Good; 10) Sheet (Ex-Mt) and Blank-Back Proof Sheet (Excellent-Plus); 11) Seven sheets (7) with 100 cards each, including Oates, with one Near-Mint and the balance Ex-Mt, plus Blank-Backed Proof (VG-Ex), yielding 80 Oates cards in total; 12) Three sheets (3) of 100 cards each, with Yzerman – two VG-Ex and one Very Good; 13) Three sheets (3) of 100 cards each, with Neely – two are Ex-Mt and one VG-Ex; 14) 1993 Classic Basketball (100 cards) – VG-Ex, with Shaq, Hardaway and Baker; and 15) 1993 Classic Four Sport (100 cards) – Good; included with the two Classic sheets are 8-by-10-inch LOAs from the company.
