A 1989 Fleer Seattle Mariner Team Set in its original packaging and headlined by the Rookie card of Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. sounds like a pretty cool item, so what is it when you have 150 of them? The Griffey Rookie takes center stage, obviously, but the Team set also includes the likes of fellow Hall of Famer Edgar Martinez, Harold Reynolds, Mark Langston, Jay Buhner and Alvin Davis, to name a few. There are 24 Mariners in all, with all 150 Team sets neatly ensconced in its original cellophane packaging, attesting to it pristine, as-issued condition; that’s a whopping ,3,600 cards looking precisely the way God, or in this instance Fleer, intended.
