Here’s a late 1980s Philadelphia Phillies maroon knit pregame jersey attributed to speedster outfielder Jeff Stone, a V-neck pullover knit with 2 1/8th-inch sleeve cuffs with 1-inch white accent braid. The NOB “Stone” is sewn directly to the jersey back, and numerals and alpha identifiers NOB and “Phillies” stylized front all sewn on in white polytwill. Rawlings Size 42 labeling is at the collar with “Set 1 1988” flap tag; the Rawlings Mini-print logo is at the left sleeve. The high probability is that the shirt was worn at least in spring training, showing light to moderate wear; Stone was traded to Baltimore on March 21, 1988. These jerseys were used for spring training games or workouts, with new sets broken out for that purpose.
