1993 Jose Oliva Cardinals Game-Worn Batting Practice Jersey

This is a complementary piece to another Oliva jersey offered, this one a batting practice jersey from the St, Louis Cardinals journeyman infielder that was issued in 1993 and worn by him in 1995 after an Aug. 25, 1995 trade from Atlanta, his final year in an abbreviated MLB career divided between the Braves and Cardinals. The navy-blue mesh shirt has the V-neck collar with the three-color, five-stripe ribbed knit accents at the collar and sleeve ends. The interlocking “StL” appears at the chest in red-on-white polytwill; the embroidered “R” logo appears at the right sleeve. Oliva’s name and No. 42 are on the back with NOB in white plain-block font polytwill. Shirt has Russell Athletic Diamond Collection Size 48 tail labeling with adjacent swatch of “1993.”
