Offered is an intriguing array of mostly minor-league jerseys, including a Oakland A’s jersey from the minor league and/or spring training and a Pirates pregame shirt from Doug Frobel, along with a minor league lineup from legendary ball clubs like the Toledo Mud Hens, Phoenix Giants and Birmingham Barons. Here’s the breakdown: 1) 1983 Oakland A’s game-worn gold knit jersey with minor-league or spring training usage. Lightweight pullover shirt has forest green/white/forest green ribbed V-neck, two-color and five-stripe green/yellow sleeve-end accent panels. A’s appears on the front chest and No. 50 on the back in two-color forest green-on-white identifiers. Rawlings Size 46 with “Set 1 1983” flap tag; the jersey was made by Rawlings for one of the A’s minor-league affiliates or for spring training complex use.; 2) 1982 Pittsburgh Pirates Doug Frobel game-worn, yellow-knit pregame jersey, with stretch-ribbed knit black V-neck collar and three-color, five-stripe (yellow/black/white) shoulder-to-sleeve accents. The NOB has been removed but outline remnants are barely visible. “Roman Sport” labeling appears at the collar.; 3) 1986-88 Toledo Mud Hens Game-Worn road grey-knit jersey, with navy/red/navy V-neck collar and matching sleeve-end accents. “Mud Hens” is in vertical arch red-on-navy poly-twill, with No. 15 on the back sewn on in the same fashion. Left sleeve has the Mud Hens patch zig-zag affixed; shirt has Wilson Prestige label on the left-front tail, with Size 42 and washing instructions flap tags. The shirt shows solid, season-long wear.; 4) 1978-79 Phoenix Giants Guy Sularz Game-Worn mesh orange jersey, with white/royal/white V-neck and braid accents in the same fashion. “Phoenix” is underscored in in white and royal blue tackle twill, with front number in the same format. The shirt, with no labeling, shows extensive surface wear to identifiers, a very colorful and attractive shirt linked to a player who would later serve four seasons as a utility infielder for the big club in the 1980s.; 5) Mid-1980s Butte Copper Kings game-worn home white-knit jersey with V-neck front and zig-zag affixed patch to the left sleeve, the charming Copper Kings Bearded Face with Crown motif in three colors. “Copper” appears on the front in red script poly-twill and “Kings” in red twill beneath. The back numerals are in royal-on-red poly-twill with bleached and faded zig-zag stitching. Rawlings famed red label is straight-stitched to the lower-left tail; the shirt shows medium wear with some minor right shoulder staining.; 6) 1985-87 Tacoma Tigers game-worn pullover green pullover knit, with yellow/green/yellow stretch-ribbed knit V-neck and sleeve accents in the same fashion. The “T” logo is on the front in white-on-yellow tackle twill as well as on the back No. 30. Rawlings Size 42 labeling appears on the inner tail, along with Adult 42 and washing instructions flap tags. The shirt reveals nice wear.; and 7) Early 1980s Birmingham Barons game-worn Barons red mesh jersey, with finely ribbed red/white/black V-neck collar and “Barons” on white-on-black tackle twill in a vertical arch. The shirt has black/white/red finely ribbed knit sleeve-end accents; Wilson Size 44 labeling appears at the collar. The shirt reveals normal surface wear, with a two-inch tear in the right-arm sleeve and a minor tear on the front-left chest.
