This lot offers game-used bats from Rob Deer and Greg Vaughn. The Deer bat is a Cooper model C243, with heavy use, a heavy coat of pine tar, measures 36.5 inches and weighs 34.5 oz. with "28" written on the end of the knob. The Vaughn bat is a Mizuno Pro and shows light use in the form of bat rack marks, with Vaughn's jersey number "23" written on both ends in blue marker. The bats are from the personal collection of catcher Brian Johnson, who played for six different teams during his career from 1994 to 2001.
