Presented is a nifty pair of artifacts from the famed 1944 World Series, the intra-city St. Louis affair that pitted the St. Louis Cardinals against crosstown rivals the Browns in a six-game wartime matchup won by the Cardinals, their second world title in three seasons through the middle of World War II. The Game Four ticket is in Very Good condition (no rain check), with a seemingly extraneous and unidentified pencil signature on the back; Game Four was headlined by a first-inning two-run home run by Stan Musial, the only postseason homer in his legendary career. The other piece is a unique eight-inch visor, with braid intact and an overall Good presentation, with a miniscule pencil mark on the back.
