Here is a pair of 1996 jerseys from Ohio State University, the year the team finished the season with an 11-1 record, with Big Ten and Rose Bowl titles in tow. Offered are a road white jersey linked to cornerback Central Mcclellion and a red shirt attributed to wide receiver Darik Warnke. The road white shirt has the dazzle cloth shoulders and sleeves with classic embedded Ohio State sleeve style pattern screened onto the dazzle cloth in red, silver and black. It has the stretch-knit V-neck collar and elastic sleeve cuffs, with Spandex underarms and side panels. The “tummy” stomach is short cut and factory hemmed to just ½-inch below the bottom of the back numerals, which are red sewn-on poly-twill. The NOB has been removed, with outline and thread remnants visible. The famed Nike Swoosh appears on the front-left shoulder. It has the Nike collar label and Swoosh on the front left chest. The red jersey has the dazzle cloth shoulders and sleeves with the classic Ohio State sleeve stripe pattern screened onto the dazzle cloth in black, white and silver (11 stripes, three colors). White poly-twill numerals are sewn on shoulders and front and back, with Spandex underarms and side panels. The Nike Swoosh is in white on the front-left shoulder. It has the “tummy cut” factory hemmed on the front 2 7/8 inches below the number and 4 inches below on the back. Outline of the original nameplate is visible; Nike Size 46 collar label is intact.
