Here’s a hobby treasure that rarely finds its way to the auction block in this form: the entire Low Series run from the iconic 1952 Topps Baseball issue, missing only the No. 261 Willie Mays, all in a highly attractive and collectible condition and enhanced by the inclusion of almost six dozen of the classic cards third-party graded and authenticated. This coveted issue is pretty evenly divided between Good and Very Good, with nearly three dozen cards above the range to Excellent and Ex-Mt and perhaps four dozen below, mostly to Fair. This is a Holy Grail for generations of collectors of postwar baseball, the natural starting point for advanced collections.
