Encapsulated "Authentic" by PSA, Mickey Mantle has affixed a splendid blue ink signature example to the front of this otherwise unmarked, vintage card. The sight of the 1956 Topps Gray Back card of Mantle (commemorating his Triple Crown campaign) makes the fresh-looking piece an ideal canvas for the star's bold and extravagant penmanship. Signed Mantle cards have seen a meteoric rise in the past five year and collectors can expect that to continue as singles that are offered for sale disappear into private collections.
