A dozen Hall of Famers headline this fascinating partial set from the quirky 1941 Double Play issue, a truly impressive array that represents 56 percent of a complete set, all in a condition range that is markedly better than these 3 1/8-by-2 ½-inch sepia-toned classics are typically encountered in mature collections. The partial set – with just a whisper of duplication - is mostly Excellent to Ex-Mt, with only a dozen cards below the range, most of those to VG-Ex. Issued by Gum Inc., each card features two images and two bios of separate players, with dual numbering on each card.
