Presented is a nice collector-grade grouping of the popular 1958 Topps Baseball issue, plus a handful of earlier Topps and Bowman cards, with an imposing lineup of Hall of Famers that includes some of the key cards from the set. The offered group is essentially Good to Very Good, with some above to Excellent and a few below, and is headlined by a pair of No. 1 Ted Williams cards, cards of Roberto Clemente, Yogi Berra, Willie Mays and Pee Wee Reese and a host of other Hall of Famers, often with duplication, including a startling number of more than four dozen cards from the groundbreaking All-Star Subset. The breakdown (cards are the player’s regular-issue version unless otherwise indicated): No. 1 Ted Williams (2) – Good, No. 5 Mays – Fair, No. 52 Clemente – Very Good, No. 370 Berra – VG and No. 375 Reese (5), plus 51 All-Stars (including Mantle (7), Musial (7) and Ted Williams), 11 Team cards, Lemon (2), Drysdale (4), Kell, Kaline, Aparicio (2), Wynn, Bunning (2), Ashburn, Frank Robinson (2), Killebrew, Minoso, Brooks Robinson (2), Ford, Cepeda, Fox (2), Doby (2), Herzog (2) and Flood Rookie. The assorted extras (55) are in rougher condition, mostly Fair to Good, and include a 1954 Topps Irvin (Fair) and 1957 Topps Banks (Very Good).
