Perhaps the most sought-after rookie card of the 1960’s, the Ryan rookie grows in mystique (and value) as time goes on. Ryan remains baseball’s strikeout and no-hit king. Koosman strung together a solid career and was an essential part of the ’69 Mets World Champions and ’73 pennant winners. This Ryan RC is No. 177 in the set and looks nicer than a PSA 6, but is handcuffed by the left to right centering.
