Here’s a cool item from that glorious and amazing New York Mets championship season in 1969, the Transogram figures – and matching cards – for members of that fabled squad, “The Amazin Mets” 1969 World Champion Collector Figures, offered here in a Mint-in-Box unopened box featuring Ed Kranepool, Al Weis and Tom Seaver. The figures are roughly 2 ½ inches high and are obviously untouched in this situation; the three cards on the back are the same size as conventional cards. The 8-by-4-inch box (1 ¼-inch deep) presents in Good fashion, jostled by a couple of tiny tears and a couple of the flaps and heavy creasing to the Weis and Seaver cards on the back.
