Here’s a tough item from that glorious and amazing New York Mets championship season in 1969, the Transogram figures – and matching cards – for members of that fabled squad, “The Amazin Mets” 1969 World Champion Collector Figures, offered here in a Mint-in-Box unopened box featuring Art Shamsky, Gary Gentry and Tommie Agee. The figures are roughly 2 ½ inches high and are obviously untouched in this situation; the three cards on the back are the same size as conventional cards. The 8-by-4-inch box (1 ¼-inch deep) is Excellent-Plus, with a tiny nick on the Agee card on the back.
