Presented is a handsome complete set of the quirky 1972 Topps Baseball issue, a Topps design that reflected the spirit of the times as effectively as any effort in their fabled history. The offered set is in largely Excellent to Ex-Mt condition, with some below and quite a few reaching Near-Mint. The colorful offering is found here in a very consistent, uniform presentation of what was the largest Topps issue to that date, an observation that extends even to the difficult high-number series, easily one of Topps’ most onerous as the very notion of issuing cards by series was coming to an abrupt end only one year hence.
