Here’s a simply spectacular artifact from 1962, a vintage AM radio by the Stellar Co. that capitalized on the two legendary Yankees and their historic home run chase of Babe Ruth’s single-season home run record the previous year. The fully functioning radio is in Ex-Mt condition, measuring 7-by-5 ½ inches and housed in a handsome wood frame, four inches deep, with an attractive figural of a Yankee batter atop the silver speaker and a baseball bat for the radio dial. All topped off by handsome facsimile autographs from Maris and Mantle.
