This is a classic set from the classic year of the National Football League before it became the multi-billion dollar behemoth in the Super Bowl era, a great set featuring the legendary stars of the NFL in all their glory. This is an attractive, consistent presentation, primarily Very Good to Ex-Mt, with about a half dozen cards reaching Near-Mint status and perhaps a dozen or so below Very Good. Overall, it comes out to roughly 5 percent Near-Mint, 18 percent Ex-Mt, 27 percent Excellent, 37 percent Very Good and 13 percent Good. About five dozen or so cards have the kind of centering that might prompt an upgrade, though not all of those are severe enough to be affixed an off-center designation.
