Presented here is a highly collectible example of the popular 1967 Topps Football issue, found here in a solid condition range perhaps a bit wider than typically encountered, broadly Very Good to Near-Mint, with only a handful of cards below the range, and missing only five cards. A striking Near-Mint example of the key No. 98 Joe Namath headlines; overall the offering comes out to 15 percent Near-Mint, 26 percent Ex-Mt, 18 percent Excellent and 35 percent Very Good to VG-Ex, with seven cards below to Good. The set, which features players from the American Football League in the closing years as the two rival leagues approach an historic merger a few years later, is very consistent, with vivid colors, centering and gloss and an attractive overall presentation.
