November 17, 2022: Fall Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/17/2022
Offered is a striking gamer from the most iconic franchise in all of professional basketball and from the height of their greatest stretch when the club won a dozen NBA titles in a 20-year-span, a 1972-73 gamer attributed initially to Mark Minor and ultimately to Phil Hankinson from 1973-75. The fabled white home jersey is a cheesecloth knit, with the traditional green neck and arm yoke trim and green tackle twill identifiers. The Sand Knit dual square labels have adjacent label with faded “71-2” in red marker. The shirt shows solid wear and some extensive label wear. Minor also wore No. 20 but his No. 20 was positioned higher on the back and was lowered to accommodate Hankinson’s longer name.
