For fans of the Man of Steel, this is a simply extraordinary artifact showcasing key elements of one of the comic hero’s great fan clubs, Supermen of America, with the items elegantly displayed in a striking 16-by-26-inch matted and framed piece that is museum worthy in all respects. All of the elements appear essentially as issued, Near-Mint or better, and are attractively displayed and protected in a plexiglass frame. The pieces (6): 1) Superman’s Secret Code Envelope – 9-by-5 ½ inches; 2) Supermen of America 1 ¼-inch in diameter pinback button; 3) Membership card 3 ½-by 2-1/4 inches, with New York City address; 4) Letter to member, 5 ½-by-8 ½ inches; 5) Letter to member, with his address, 8 ½-by-11 inches, with 1941 copyright and signed by Clark Kent (probably secretarial and not the real Clark Kent); and 6) the envelope that the pieces were mailed in, which is affixed to the back of the display. Truth, justice and the American Way never got better treatment.
