Presented is a large group of collector-grade 1959 Topps Baseball, broadly in Good to Excellent condition, with some above and perhaps two dozen below, mostly to Fair, with a lineup that features six Hall of Famers, more than two dozen Rookie Stars, seven cards from the difficult high series and an extensive roster of many of the great stars, All-Stars and minor stars of the era. The Series Two Rookie Stars subset is in a condition a bit better than the larger group, perhaps closer to Ex-Mt to Near-Mint, with some off-centers and a couple of miscuts. Even with a wee bit of duplication, the lot represents about 40 percent of a complete set. Breakdown of keys: No. 1 Frick – Fair, 80 Minoso – Excellent m/c, 90 Skowron – Good, 116 Allison Rookie – Very Good, 149 Bunning – Good, 200 Giles (2) – Very Good and Good, 338 Anderson Rookie – VG-Ex, 408 Keystone Combo (3) – Good and Fair, 429 Thomson – Good, 530 Moon (2) – VG-Ex o/c and VG m/c, 535 Gomez – Ex m/c, 539 (2) – VG and 551 Haney All-Star – VG-Plus. Additional stars, minor stars: Buhl, Cardwell, Cerv (2), Covington, Donovan, Ennis, Fairly, Gilliam, Grant, Jackson, Jensen, Jones, Lockman (2), Maxwell, McCormick, Miller, Mueller, O'Toole, Roseboro, Siebern, Simmons (2), Stuart, Tanner, Temples, Thomas (2), Triandos and Yost.
