Here are three complete sets from the closing years of the 1970s decade, an important group that is pretty uniformly Near-Mint or better, with a few Ex-Mt and a very consistent and compelling presentation, with excellent color and gloss. The key Hall of Famers, Rookies and stars generally conform to the wider condition range, with a handful of exceptions noted: 1) 1976 Topps (660) – Rose is Ex-Mt-Plus and Eckersley Rookie – Ex-Mt-Plus; 2) 1977 Topps (660) – Sutter Rookie is Ex-Mt-Plus, Dawson Rookie – Excellent, Munson – Ex and Ryan – VG-Ex; and 3) 1978 Topps (726) – Murray Rookie – Ex-Mt, Molitor Rookie – Good and Ryan – Good.
