Presented are two complete Topps baseball sets from the closing years of the 1970s, sets that are genuinely high-grade and boast superb color and gloss, along with a striking, uniform presentation. The 1978 set (726) is just a whisper better than 1979, easily Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint, with HOFers and keys conforming to the wider range; the No. 36 Murray Rookie is Ex-Mt-Plus. The 1979 set (726) is mostly Near-Mint or better, with quite a few Ex-Mt cards and some erratic centering. Breakdown of some condition anomalies: No. 30 Winfield – Very Good, 40 Eckersley – Ex-Mt-Plus m/c, 95 Yount – VG, 119 Smith Rookie – Near-Mint o/c and No. 300 Yastrzemski – Ex-Mt-Plus.
