Presented is an almost literally unimprovable group of 10 complete sets of 1985 Topps Baseball, pristine cards that are easily Near-Mint to Mint, essentially as-issued monsters with stunning color and gloss, and possibly a handful of cards merely Near-Mint. This was truly one of Topps’ coolest issues of the gauzy decade of the 1980s, a set that features the once-gargantuan and still formidable Mark McGwire Rookie card, along with first-year pasteboards from Dwight Gooden, Kirby Puckett, Roger Clemens, Orel Hershiser and Eric Davis. That comes out to almost 8,000 cards looking exactly the way they did when they rolled off the presses, factory-style sets boasting razor-sharp corners to complement the aforementioned standout vibrant colors and gloss.
