Presented is an outstanding Full Ticket and All-Star Game Program from the 1972 All-Star Game in Atlanta, a 4-3 extra-innings victory for the National League, launching the start of a record 11-game National League winning streak after a loss the previous year ended and eight-game streak for the Senior Circuit. As such the program and ticket provide a great glimpse into the middle of the most significant period of National League domination in the annual affair. If the beloved exhibition contest needed any more gravitas, the game also marked the final All-Star appearance of Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente, who would die in a plane crash on New Year’s Eve while delivering aid to earthquake victims in Nicaragua. The Full Ticket is Near-Mint; the Program (8 ½-by-11 inches – 80 pages), is unscored and in Ex-Mt condition.
