Presented is an attractive Cincinnati Reds Bobbin Head Doll from the 1967-72 Gold Base Series, an Ex-Mt specimen, with excellent color and gloss. The seven-inch Gold Base figure sports a truly outstanding paint job, with almost none of the dreaded chipping that is part and parcel of so many of these vintage treasures, save only for some tiny nicks on nicks on the gold base. The painting is superb, with detailed crisp lines on the old-style Reds cap, the baseball stitching and right down to the subtle blush on his cheeks. The original box has the color sticker on the top and is 3 ¼-by-7 ¼ inches (3 ¼ inches deep) in Good condition, with only a minor tear and minimal fraying of the delicate cardboard edges.
