Presented is an outstanding example of the Philadelphia Phillies Bobbin Head Dolls from the 1967-72 Gold Base Series, an easily Near-Mint specimen boasting exceptional colors and gloss. The seven-inch, round-base figure features an outstanding paint job, with virtually none of the dreaded chipping that is part and parcel of so many of these vintage treasures. There is only the tiniest of nicks on the “P” decal on the cap, visible only with the most careful examination. The original box with color sticker on the top is 3 ¼-by-7 ¼ inches (3 ¼ inches deep) is in Good condition, with some dirt and staining and small tears, and only minimal fraying of the delicate cardboard edges. It is difficult to imagine finding a more pristine example of this important vintage bobbin head.
