This is an impressive example of the important Baltimore Orioles Bobbin Head Dolls from the 1963 Green Base Series that boasts excellent color and gloss. The seven-inch figure reveals only the barest whisper of the dreaded chipping that is part and parcel of so many of these vintage treasures; of particular note is the pristine condition of both the Orioles bird logo on the cap and the “Orioles” across the chest, with the tiniest of nicks to the latter observable with only the most careful examination, and not so much as even a whisper of difficulty with the delicate “Baltimore” decal at the front of the green base. The original box with color sticker on the top is 3 ¼-by-7 ¼ inches (3 ¼ inches deep) and is in Very Good condition, without significant issue and only a small tear to the color-image on the top flap and minimal fraying of the delicate cardboard edges.
