This is a really sharp example of one of the most important cards in the legendary 1950 Bowman issue, the No. 22 Jackie Robinson that is found here in VG/EX-Plus condition. Marking his amazing 1950 MVP campaign, the card is easily the most treasured card of the 1950 Bowman set, topping pasteboards of Ted Williams and Yogi Berra by many multiples. Robinson’s 1949 campaign was the finest of his Hall of Fame career, with a career-best .342 average that earned him the National League Batting Title, and 124 RBI and a league-leading 37 Stolen Bases. Try to conjure up another instance in MLB history where somebody managed to pile up 124 RBI with a mere 16 home runs. Great looking card, with strong registry front, clean back, evident, but very slight rounding of the corners and a slight O/C left-to-right centering.
