Presented is an imposing lot touching seven decades of vintage baseball cards, with the emphasis to the postwar era and a lineup that includes Hall of Famers, Stars, Specials and commons, with the earlier years in lower grades and then improving significantly in the 1970s. There are four dozen cards from 1900 to 1950, including nine T205 cards in Poor to Fair condition, a dozen or so 1933 Goudeys in mostly Good condition, (Pepper Martin, Lombardi, Lyons and Manush are Poor to Fair), and the balance are early Bowmans (1950 Mize – Good). The early Topps and Bowman years in the 1950s are mostly Good to Very Good, with the 1952 Topps array closer to Fair to Good, with some above. Here’s the breakdown: 1) 1952 Topps (26), including Minoso Rookie, Friend Rookie, Kell, Konstanty, Zernial, Antonelli and Jethroe; 2) 1953-54 Topps (13) – including an Ex-Mt 1953 Topps Loes; 3) 1954 Bowman (119) – including Antonelli, Avila, Burdette (2), Dark, Ennis, Fain, Friend (2), Gordon, Kuenn, Mueller, Pesky, Pierce, Raschi, Thomas, Vernon and Woodling (2); 4) 1955-56 Topps (31); 5) 1957 Topps (46); 6) 1958 Topps (180); 7) 1959 Topps (110) – including eight Team cards; 8) 1960 Topps (76); 9) 1961 Topps (14); 10) 1963-69 Topps (255); 11) 1970 Topps (175) – Good to Very Good; 12) 1971 Topps (900) – wider range of Very Good to Ex-Mt, with some above and below; 13) 1972 Topps (1,300) – Very Good to Near-Mint, really nice group, with emphasis to the upper end of the spectrum; 14) 1973 Topps (250) – Very Good to Excellent, with some above and below; 15) 1974 (250) - Very Good to Ex-Mt, with some below; 16) 1975 (250); 17) 1976 Topps (900); 18) 1977 Topps (100); 19) 1978 Topps (25); and 20) 1979 Topps (225) – Excellent to Ex-Mt.
