Presented here is a complete set from 1973 Topps Baseball, found here in an attractive mostly Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition, with some below and the set pretty evenly divided between the two. This was the final year that Topps issued cards in individual series over the course of spring and summer, and ostensibly the final year of that tradition of extended distribution that had been the hallmark of the firm for more than two decades. The overall centering is fairly typical for the issue; the Hall of Famers and stars generally fall within the broader condition range, with exceptions noted below. In addition to the regular-issue set, there are 20 of the blue-bordered Team Checklists in mostly Very Good to Excellent condition, with a few below and the vast majority carrying the (mk) qualifier. The breakdown of keys and Hall of Famers: No. 1 HR Leaders – Excellent-Plus, 50 Clemente – Ex, 80 Oliva – Ex-Mt-Plus, 80 Brooks Robinson – Ex-Mt, 100 Aaron – Ex-Mt-Plus, 115 Santo – Ex, 130 Rose – Near-Mint, 142 Munson – Ex-Mt, 160 Palmer – Nr-Mt, 170 Killebrew – Ex-Plus, 174 Gossage Rookie – Nr-Mt, 193 Fisk – Ex-Mt-Plus, 190 Gibson – Ex-Mt, 220 Ryan – Ex-Mt-Plus, 230 Morgan – Ex-Plus, 245 Yastrzemski – Ex-Mt-Plus, 255 Jackson – Ex, 305 Mays – Ex-Plus, 330 Carew – Nr-Mt o/c, 473 Aaron AT Leader – VG-Ex, 484 Ruth AT Leader – Nr-Mt o/c, 545 Cepeda – VG-Ex, 614 Evans Rookie – Nr-Mt and 615 Schmidt Rookie – Ex-Plus.
