Offered is an important group of the colorful, oversized 1970 Topps Basketball, an array that features 16 Hall of Famers, three important Rookie cards and a number of the All-Stars from Series Two. The array of nearly four dozen cards is found here in a consistent, largely Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition, with seven cards slabbed by PSA providing a nice glimpse into the wider condition range. The coveted No. 123 Maravich Rookie was deemed by PSA as “Altered.” The group has an overall look that is compelling with crisp, vivid background colors and sharp orange spot color on exceptionally clean backs. This was Topps’ second consecutive “Tall Boys” issue at 2 ½-by 4 11/16-inch cards.
