Presented are two collector-grade partial sets from 1968 and 1969 Topps Hockey, arrays that include many of the key Hall of Famers and stars, often with multiples even of some of the major stars of the era. The cards are broadly Good to Very Good, with some above and below the range, with some of the quirky “Stamps” that were affixed to the back of some of the 1969 cards, and a similar number deemed Fair because the Stamps had been removed. Here’s the breakdown: 1968 (196) – Hull (3), Howe, Esposito (3), Mikita (3), Beliveau, Parent, Richard (2), Giacomin, Cheevers, Mahovlich, Cournoyer (2), Gilbert (2), Worsley (2), Sanderson (2), Bucyk, Horton and the Checklist; 1969 (146) – Orr (Affixed) – Good (mk), Hull (2 – Affixed and Removed), Beliveau (Removed), Parent (Affixed), Mikita (2 – Affixed and Removed), Esposito (2 – Affixed and Removed), Mahovich (2), Richard (3), Worsley (4), Horton (2), Giacomin and Savard.
