This is an impressive array of super high-grade cards from the notoriously condition-sensitive 1973 Topps Hockey, essentially Near-Mint to Mint, with some below (mostly VG-Ex) but overall a startling group of pristine cards from the difficult full-bleed, red/blue borders design. The array features significant duplication, often touching some of the Hall of Famers and great stars of the period, for many reaching even three or four dozen cards; included in the mix are dozens of Hall of Famers and more than 100 Team cards. Here’s a breakdown of keys: Orr All-Star, Clarke All-Star (4), Lafleur (3), Sittler (4), Perreault (21), Park (6), Hadfield (32), Gary Smith (32), Goldsworthy (40), Cashman (53 – about ½ are off center), Henri Richard (2), Delvecchio (3), Gilbert (4), Ratelle (2), Cournoyer (3), Dionne, Sanderson and Giacomin.
