Presented is an empty case from 1975 Topps Baseball, arguably Topps’ most attractive design of the decade with full-bleed bi-color panels that glistened and produced one of the truly condition-sensitive issues of the era. This is a solid condition artifact that held 24 of the legendary 500-county vending boxes that have been a hallmark of the remarkable Fritsch inventory down through the years. The box presents in Good condition, with a couple of corner tears; comes with a 7 ½-by-3 ½-inch Topps mailing label addressing the case to the legendary Larry Fritsch in Stevens Point, Wis. That’s the kind of provenance that collectors like, linking an important Topps artifact to arguably the most prolific collector in hobby history.
