Presented is one of the early Topps insert issues, the stamps that were included two-per-pack and designed to be affixed into 5-by-8-inch booklets that are offered here with a substantial number of stamps for each year. With 72 stamps affixed inside, the 1961 booklet is in broadly Good condition, with most of the pages Fair or Poor and stamps generally Excellent or better, with some below to Fair or Poor, and decently affixed; some of the pages have loosened from the spine. A total of 10 Hall of Famers are included in a lineup that represents 35 percent of a complete set. Here’s the breakdown of HOFers and stars of 1961 Stamps: Aaron (Poor), Snider (Fair), Roberts, Wilhelm, Wynn, Kaline, Bunning, Williams, Herzog, Ashburn, Martin, Pinson (2), Brosnan, Davis, Howard, Moon, Podres, Burton, Buhl, Boyer, White, Sievers, Piersall, Kuenn, Lemon and Ramos. The 1962 booklet is in a bit better overall condition, essentially Very Good, with most pages VG-Ex, with 100 stamps that are broadly Ex-Mt, with some below and most decently affixed; some of the pages have loosened from the spine. A total of nine Hall of Famers are included in an array of 100 stamps, representing precisely ½ of a complete set.
