The Topps Supers are one of the true success stories of Topps peripheral issues from nearly a half-century ago, a unique format that provided some spectacular photography presented in an oversized fashion on a heavy cardboard stock. The 3 1/8-by-5 ¼-inch Supers are in spectacular Near-Mint or better condition, with wonderful, bold colors, heavy gloss and clean backs. The near set is missing only No. 38 Boog Powell; as is not uncommon with the Supers issues, there are a couple of off-centers included in the mix.
