Offered here is a partial set of 1972 Topps Baseball cards, with a bit of duplication and confined to Series One through Five. The partial set is mostly Good to Excellent, with some above and the emphasis probably to Very Good, with numerous stretches of Ex-Mt cards from Series Three and Four included in the mix. The set was iconic from the moment it rolled off the presses more than 50 years ago, boasting wonderful vivid colors and gloss in the colorful and quirky “psychedelic” design in an offering that – given its mammoth size – included more unusual subsets than any Topps effort before or since. As noted above, there is a bit of duplication, including extra Team cards from the Yankees (4), Tigers (3), Mets (3), Astros (3), Angels (2), Brewers (2), Twins (2) and Cubs (2).
