Presented is a neat grouping of vintage bobbin head dolls, including two figures from the Redskins in the 1960s and 1970s, 1968 pieces from the Browns and Broncos and a 1975 Seahawks figure. We start with an attractive pair of the popular Redskins Bobbin Heads from 1968 and 1975, with an Ex-Mt 7 ½-inch Gold Base example from 1968 and the seven-inch, Gold Base Series from 1975 (with official NFL box), with the former a blazing Ex-Mt and the 1968 plastic figure that presents in Near-Mint fashion, with virtually none of the dreaded paint chipping that so commonly afflicts these dolls; with the 1975 piece there is just the slightest buckling of the famed Redskins decal on both sides of the helmet and similarly slight buckling of the team name decal on the base. The 1968 piece has some slight dirt to the base; the decals to the helmet are truly outstanding. The 1975 Seahawks Bobbin Head from the seven-inch, Gold Base Series also includes the official box, a plastic figure that presents in Very Good fashion, with somewhat extensive chipping to the helmet and loss to the team name decal on the base. The iconic NFL logo sticker is affixed to the base. The eight-inch Official NFL Box is VG-Ex. The coveted 1968 Cleveland Browns figure is from the 7 ½-inch, Gold Base Series, a standout figure that presents in Near-Mint fashion, virtually free of the dreaded chipping that customarily afflicts these figures, and boasting really nice, vivid color and gloss, most notably the blazing orange from the iconic color team color scheme; the delicate metal faceguard is present and intact. Truly an important artifact from one of the most beloved teams in the National Football League. The final piece is an outstanding example of the 1968 Denver Broncos Bobbin Head from the 7 ½-inch, Gold Base Series, a striking figure that presents in Ex-Mint fashion, with just a whisper of light chipping to a couple of spots on the gold base and some light dirt and staining to the white pants; some of the not uncommon nicks and cracking to the bottom of the face piece are barely perceptible and typically can only be spotted by holding the figure upside down. The paint job is excellent, with sharp, vivid colors, including on the famed Bronco blue helmet and crisp red jersey; the iconic Broncos’ logo decals on each side of the helmet are without incident, as are the “Broncos” and “00” decals on the shirt. The delicate metal faceguard is present and intact. The eight-inch original box is in Excellent condition, with just a bit of fraying of the cardboard edges and a couple of tiny tears.
