From the granddaddy of all baseball card issues comes this bruised T206 White Border Christy Mathewson White Cap, one of many important key cards from the legendary set, found here in a PSA Authentic holder with significant paper loss front and back. One of three Mathewson varieties in the fabled issue, this White Cap example has decent centering right to left and a noticeable bias to the bottom of the card on the front, with rounded corners, creasing and the aforementioned paper loss to the Piedmont 150 back, seemingly from having been glued to a scrapbook.
