From the granddaddy of all baseball card issues comes this T206 White Border Rube Waddell Portrait card, one of many important cards from the legendary set, found here in a PSA 2.5 holder, a condition a bit better than these classic cards are typically encountered in mature collections. The card provides a striking presentation with the dramatically intense blue background that so effectively sets off the Waddell Portrait image. One of two Waddell variations in the fabled issue, this example has attractive white borders and good centering, along with slightly rounded corners; the Sweet Caporal 150/30 Back is similarly attractive, with crisp red printing and only the barest whisper of toning.
