This is a truly classic artifact in outstanding condition, a game-worn home flannel from one of the early years of the Houston franchise, sporting one of the most elegant and distinctive front logos extant. The shirt has a seven-button front, the famed Colt 45s logo on front is simply stunning with the intricate chenille stitching, with the No. 3 on the back in navy-on-orange felt; the number has been changed from 36, with no way to tell if the change was done at MLB spring training or at the minor-league level. It has Wilson Size 40 labeling and “64” embroidered in the tail. It is a particularly attractive uniform style in solid condition, save only for the number change.
