Presented is a 1971 Topps Basketball vending box that has been searched to the tune of approximately 125 cards or so, yet leaving behind almost four dozen Hall of Famers and even more specials. In typical vending fashion, the cards are mostly blazing Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint, with vivid colors and gloss; as is sometimes the case, there may be a couple of dozen or so cards that are closer to Ex-Mt or Ex-Mt-Plus from minor corner dings from being nudged in the box. As noted, it has obviously been searched, but the roster of those present and accounted for is still imposing, including a good deal of duplication of Hall of Famers: White (4), Dandridge (3), Beaty (3), Walker (3), Marin (3), Gus Johnson (3), Hazzard (3), Mullins (2), Bing (2), DeBusschere, Murphy, Hayes (Ex-Mt-Plus), Unseld, Greer, Cunningham, Goodrich, Hudson and Van Lier, plus six Checklist and three League Leaders.
